Thomas Riley, Mooreland Heights Elementary School.

Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students at Mooreland Heights Elementary School (MHES) will be performing the musical, “Willy Wonka Kids,” on May 8, 2015, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Because of the popularity of the school’s musical performances, the “Willy Wonka Kids” performances will be held at South-Doyle Middle School’s auditorium (3900 Decatur Road), which provides more seating for audience members.

These performances are part of the school’s arts integration initiative, Value Plus, which offers a musical every two years. The musical is directed by Carly Egan, music teacher at Mooreland Heights Elementary School. There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted at the door.

For more information about the performance, please contact Brandi Self, MHES Leadership Academy Fellow Administrative Assistant and Curriculum Specialist, 865-579-2105.
