Spring Break just got better! Muse Knoxville invites families to Spring into STEAM Monday, March 9, through Sunday, March 15, with hands-on activities happening all day long — all included with admission.

During this weeklong programming takeover, guests will explore birds, bugs, and blooms both on the play floor and in hands-on workshops designed to spark curiosity and creativity. From studying insects under microscopes and learning bird calls to discovering floral scents and creating nature-inspired stamp art, there’s something new to experience each day.

Activities on the Exhibit Floor:

BIRDS – Explore bird calls, fun facts, and how different beaks help birds survive.

BUGS – Investigate insects up close using digital microscopes and X-ray imagery.

BLOOMS – Discover flower scents, learn plant parts, and create botanical art.

IN MAKESPACE – Design nature-inspired creations using flowers, leaves, and insects.

Programming at 2 p.m., Tuesday – Friday:

  • Tuesday: Move Like Animals with Zoo Knoxville
  • Wednesday: Leaf Photography & Bird Sound Guessing
  • Thursday: Nature Sun Prints
  • Friday: DIY Seed Paper
