October 20th Meeting at St. John’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall Our next meeting will be a panel discussion about homelessness in our area. The meeting is brought to us by the Volunteer Ministry Center and will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church across the street from VMC at 544 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917. Our panel speakers will be: Nate First with the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) will talk about stats and share the community dashboard that anyone can access at any time for quarterly stats on homelessness in Knoxville. Rosie Cross of Volunteer Ministry Center (VMC) and Jonathan Johnson of Knox County Health Department (KCHD) will talk about their work to develop the Regional Outreach Collaborative – Knox (ROCK) to provide coordinated, interagency outreach to unsheltered people in Knoxville/Knox County. Erin Read the Executive Director, Knoxville-Knox County Office of Housing Stability will talk about the lack of housing and the role of her office. We look forward to seeing everyone.
