Guest Speaker: Pete DeBusk

Pete DeBusk is the founder, owner, and chairman of DeRoyal Industries. He also serves as the chairman of the board of trustees at Lincoln Memorial University. DeBusk has spearheaded numerous projects including the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center, and the Duncan College of Law. In addition to serving as chairman of the LMU Board of Trustees, DeBusk helped establish the Halls/Powell Boys and Girls Club.

He will be speaking with the NKBPA about Lincoln Memorial University’s health-related programs that will now be housed at the former St. Mary’s Hospital site in North Knoxville.

The East Tennessee Wellness Roundtable (ETWR) is hosting its Annual Seminar: Overcoming Barriers to Employee Wellness on May 19, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET. This virtual half-day event will be hosted on Lunchpool, a virtual event platform that allows unique opportunities for networking and engagement. The event will feature speakers from all over the country, covering topics of plain language usage, tools for team building, and promoting employee wellness amid COVID-19-related challenges.
