Just two miles from the center of downtown, stands the nation’s largest concentration of George Barber Homes. Nestled in the Edgewood-Park City Historic District of the Parkridge neighborhood, these 19th to early 20th century homes are beautiful examples of Victorian Architecture and the area’s rich history.

Parkridge invites you enjoy this historic architecture brought into the modern era with a walking tour, Sunday, Oct. 27, from 1-5 p.m. The tour will begin at 1520 Washington Ave., and continue through the neighborhood. Please note, walking is necessary and many homes do have steps.

Tickets are $10, until the day of the event, when they go up to $15. To purchase tickets for The Spirits of Parkridge Home Tour, visit the Eventbrite page  . For more information on the event, visit the Parkridge Community Organization.
