REALTOR® from Knoxville Wins National Award for Compassionate Hospice Care
REALTOR® Cindy Bradley with Signature Homes in Knoxville is one of five winners chosen as a recipient of the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Awards. Celebrating its 26th year, these distinguished awards spotlight REALTORS® who are not only experts in their field but also champions of volunteerism.
After the death of her husband, Bradley turned her personal loss into a gift for families facing end-of-life care. She founded and funded Sacred Ground Hospice House, the only hospice center in her area, which in just four years has cared for nearly 800 patients who spent their final days in a compassionate, comfortable home environment.
Bradley will be awarded a $10,000 grant for her charity and be recognized with her official award on November 15 during NAR NXT, the association’s annual conference, hosted this year in Houston.
“I’m beyond thrilled for Sacred Ground Hospice House to have this incredible opportunity for exposure,” said Bradley. “We would never have been able to do this any other way. The grant will go directly into our Bridge the Gap Fund, which ensures we never turn anyone away based on ability to pay.”
“Cindy exemplifies the very best of the real estate profession,” said NAR President Kevin Sears. “Through her compassion, leadership, and hands-on service, she has transformed lives and demonstrated how the impact of real estate extends far beyond helping people buy and sell homes. Her work is a powerful reminder of how deeply our members care about strengthening their communities.”
