If you haven’t registered for Mayor Tim Burchett’s 6th Annual Senior Appreciation Picnic you’ll need to do so by this Friday, September 26. The free event, which features food, activities, live entertainment, and an expo tent with vendors, takes place Friday, October 3rd from 11:30 until 1:30 at the John Tarleton Park, 3201 Division Street.

All Senior Citizen Centers will be closed the day of the picnic.

It is part of a county-wide appreciation day and you can RSVP at 215-4007 or at any senior center.
