KNOXVILLE – Motorists traveling on I-275 North in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.

Beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, July 22, there will be lane closures on I-275 North at the bridge over Elm Street and Bernard Avenue as crews improve rideability at the bridge ends. The closures will remain in place until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
