The Tennessee Artists Association will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6500 Northshore Dr., Knoxville. This meeting is free and open to anyone interested in the arts in East Tennessee. Refreshments will be served.
The program will feature artist Betty Bullen. Bullen is a well-known area artist, focusing primarily on oil painting. Her landscapes and portraits reflect the native beauty of East Tennessee and reflect her passion for painting the life, work and play of the people who inhabit these mountains. Bullen frequently shows her work at exhibits and has studied extensively with a number of artists, including Seth Haverkamp, Robert Liberace, Elizabeth Robbins, and Dawn Whitelaw, among others. Her presentation will focus on portraiture.
