Town Hall East’s next membership meeting will be on Monday evening, March 9, at 7 p.m. in the Rust Fellowship Hall of Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
The meeting will be a short one and will feature a presentation by Nancy Welch, who will talk about transportation issues affecting seniors and the disabled and CAC’s Volunteer Assisted Transportation program.
Immediately following this short session, we will hear a separate presentation from Aaron Browning, Deputy Director of Knoxville’s Department of Parks and Recreation. He wants to discuss plans for a bike skills area in Holston River Park and will also talk about the results of the department’s survey of city residents on their wishes for the park system.
