With his grandfather being the church choir director and his father the piano player, it was no surprise that music came naturally to Cooter Daniel. Saved at age 13, Cooter has always had a feeling for Christian music. Whether his style of music is called Southern Gospel or Christian Country, it is definitely Cooter Daniel Music!

The latest honor to come Cooter’s way was being named to September’s Top 40 SGN SCOOPS Christian Country Chart for his latest recording of “Ol’ Time Gospel Feelin’”! In addition to the song’s debut at No. 2 nationally, another recognition for the Nashville recording artist was being nominated for CITYVIEW Magazine’s Best of the Best 2021 in the Americana Band category.

October is packed for the Grainger County native. On Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m., listeners can hear Cooter sing his soul-touching songs in a live performance at the Grainger County Park Fall Festival in Rutledge, Tennessee. Cooter will have another live performance on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 10 a.m., Biblical Times Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, at the Southern Gospel Fall Fest 2021. Then, on October 27, 2021, Cooter will be one of three professional judges picking the winner for the WJBZ Praise 96.3 FM Talent Search for the next big Christian Artist!
