The Focus family hopes you and yours enjoyed a happy and healthy July 4th as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great country. That is especially important in the day and age in which we live, where too many of our children and grandchildren wallow in the squalor and ignorance of socialism and communism. The world has seen nothing like it since the rise of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, and ironically, the people calling more conservative-minded people “Nazis” are those who share the same antisemitism as Hitler himself. Scott Wiener, running for the House seat being vacated by Nancy Pelosi, has been literally pursued by ragged bands of what appear to be groups of communist derelicts shouting and screaming in his face and cursing him. Wiener was told he had stopped being gay when he supported Israel. Support for Israel has become the trigger for those on the extreme left. It’s ironic that there’s a group of gay people bullying a gay person and squalling about “democracy” and shouting “free Palestine”, when they would all literally be tossed off buildings in every Muslim country in the Middle East (including Palestine), where being gay is outlawed. And, in fact, the only democracy in the Middle East is that of Israel. These actions also speak to their ability to reason and display the level of their intelligence. Clearly, they are morons.
These roving herds of gay communists are spitting, shouting and cursing someone who they acknowledge accomplished much for gay people. The litmus test for those communists and ultra-far-left socialists masquerading as Democrats is now the very same kind of hatred of Jews as practiced by the Nazis. Their love of freedom of speech doesn’t even exist, and their references to “democracy” are a shameful mockery of the word, as they love democracy as much as Hitler, Stalin and Mao before them. People are being nominated for Congress in safe “Blue” districts who are young, stupid, venal and bitterly antisemitic. Most of them never seem to have held down a real job in their life but propose to run the country.
Antonio Gramschi, quoted recently by Mamdani in New York, was the co-founder of the Communist Party in Italy and said the fall of Western civilization would come through the collapse of Western culture, and that is precisely what these people wish to dismantle piece by piece. Every culture is celebrated, but that of our forefathers and our own people.
The visitors from all across the world coming to the United States for the soccer championship have readily expressed their awe and delight in the freedoms we enjoy and our standard of living, which is the greatest in the world. Yet the socialists and communists wish to destroy our country. The hypocrisy of these people knows no bounds and has no ceiling. They denounce billionaires publicly yet are funded by billionaires. Those on the far left who bray about taxing the rich – – – Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom, Elizabeth Warren – – – are all millionaires.
And don’t think it doesn’t exist here. Beau Hawk, the Democratic nominee for Knox County mayor, has acknowledged he attended a rally in Caracas, Venezuela, in 2020 in support of Nicolás Maduro. Yes, the same Nicolás Maduro who was a communist dictator and helped to ruin a once prosperous economy to starve and beggar the people he lorded over. Hawk explains he was “young and dumb” at the time and disputes a quote attributed to him in a pro-Maduro publication praising “the working people celebrating their revolution.” Hawk is 35 presently and would have been 29 then. Betsy Henderson, the Republican nominee for Knox County mayor, has rightly pointed out that Maduro was a “self-described Marxist and murderous dictator.”
Henderson said, “It is hard to believe that someone seeking office in Knox County would support such an evil government that has fueled the drug trade, violent criminal gangs, and human misery. It’s against everything we as Americans stand for.”
Henderson herself is about as American as apple pie. Beau Hawk has said the discussion of his trip to Venezuela is “an unfortunate distraction” from his campaign. Not at all, people need to know something about the people asking for votes and the job of running our local government. Calling yourself a candidate of the working man is one thing; celebrating Maduro and his regime is quite another. Celebrating the revolution that made paupers and slaves out of the Venezuelan people call into question one’s good judgment, at the very least. If ever there was a repressed people on this planet, it was the people of Venezuela who were victimized and abused by dictator Maduro and his vicious government. After all, we should have learned by now that you get what you vote for.
