Bank Your Vote
Have you wondered how someone can look at the disasters in our country and still support the Biden/Harris administration? I’ve written about delusional thinking which Mr. Webster defines as a “false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary.” In other words, it is an “unshakable belief in something that is not true.”
Despite the abject failures of Biden and Harris, people still support Kamala Harris. Is this because they believe she will improve the country by fixing the border that she and Biden destroyed? Do they believe she will enact policies that will fix inflation and the economy that she and Biden damaged? A vote for Kamala is a vote for more illegals and more inflation.
Perhaps some support Kamala in the hopes they will get a handout (as in student loans) or that Democrats are capable of fixing crime, the drug crisis, sex trafficking, or protecting us from terrorists, Chinese aggression or the Russians. If you believe this, you are delusional and you should see a psychiatrist.
No matter how the Democrat media tries to spin it, things are a mess in this country and the world. So if you’re in favor of term limits, and I certainly am, it’s time for a change. Turn out the Democrats and bring back the policies of President Donald Trump which worked. We were all better off with President Trump. And Harris’ selection of Tim Walz completes the ticket of the most liberal and truly “weird” candidacy in American history. The radical Democrats finally have their Bernie Sanders socialist ticket. Remember, it was South Carolina Democrat congressman Jim Clyburn who saved Joe Biden and the Democrats from Bernie in 2020. They promoted Biden as a “moderate” and “an adult.” He was actually the childlike puppet of Democrat radicals.
Where is Joe Biden these days? Now that he’s a lame duck president and no longer useful to Democrat elites, he seems to have disappeared. The only thing I’ve heard him say lately is to repeat the delusional lie that President Trump warned of a “bloodbath” if he’s not reelected in November. Trump was speaking of the auto industry which will be damaged by Kamala and the Democrats push for electric cars which will largely be made in China.
The media now seems fixated on Kamala, although they can’t catch her for a news conference. And they are trying to salvage her pick of Tim Walz who said the BLM riots that burned Minneapolis were “exciting,” while Kamala raised money to bail out the rioters. Walz said socialism is just being neighborly, and as governor of Minnesota he ordered draconian policies during Covid and put taxpayer-funded tampons in boy’s bathrooms at schools, garnering the moniker of “Tampon Tim” on social media.
What scares me more than war in the Middle East or Ukraine, the economy and the national debt, broken borders or crime is the November election. Despite lip service assurances that reforms are in place to prevent the abuses of the 2020 election, it is a certainty that cheating will nonetheless occur. The execrable Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is warning of cyber attacks on voting machines in November. This has the real potential of disrupting the election and producing long lines which may dissuade people from voting.
I have always voted on Election Day rather than voting early. I recently read that more Democrats vote early than do Republicans. While I’m not a Republican nor am I sure of these statistics, the danger of losing my vote if cyber attacks occur on November 5, 2024, has made me rethink my voting plans. In this most important election of my lifetime, I plan to vote early and “bank my vote.” As a precaution, I urge you to vote early.
Is Kamala Harris a chameleon or a charlatan? When campaigning all politicians tend to “run to the center” in order to garner votes. But the voting record and statements of Kamala Harris are so far from mainstream that it would be impossible for her to honestly espouse a centrist position on anything. And “stolen valor” Walz is demonstrably worse. Because vice president selections never change people’s vote for a presidential ticket, the rule is never to select a vice president candidate that damages your ticket. Harris’ choice of Minnesota Governor Walz over Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro has raised the specter of antisemitism and proved disastrous.
People may take issue with President Trump’s brash New Yorker style, but he is not a Nazi or the monster depicted by the progressive Democrat left and their media stooges. He was a successful president despite the Covid pandemic. We had a secure border, energy independence, a robust economy with low inflation and national security. And while cackling Kamala runs from the press, her record and the people, Trump held a press conference last week in his home deftly answering questions from a liberal press, outlining his plans to Make America Great Again.
While Kamala says “We love Bidenomics,” Americans don’t because they are paying much more for staples like food and gasoline. Kamala may love yellow school buses and be enraptured by craters on the moon, but she apparently doesn’t understand Economics 101. If you flood the market with dollars, the value of each dollar is worth less and inflation is the result.
I watched President Trump’s press conference and he is sharp, energetic and the commanding presence in any room or place. Such a contrast to Biden and Harris. By the time you read this essay, you will undoubtedly have heard news expert’s observations of Trump’s press conference. However since like my readers I am just a citizen, my observations may be helpful.
I learned that Trump and his team have offered three debates with Harris in September, one on Fox and two others on ABC and NBC. CBS will hold the vice presidential debate between JD Vance and Walz. Along with eliminating taxes on tips, Trump will push for eliminating taxes on social security checks. He will focus on “security, safety and jobs” by removing criminal illegals from the country and securing the border. And he will protect 2nd Amendment rights because “people need to be able to protect themselves.”
