The hatred of those on the far Left never ceases to amaze me, and it seemed to reach new heights over the recent Supreme Court decisions on Roe vs. Wade.

Pro-abortion demonstrators went to the home of Justice Amy Coney Barrett in Falls Church, VA, screaming “F___ you, Barrett.”

Demonstrators showed up outside the upscale Morton’s Restaurant in Washington angrily shouting at Justice Brett Kavanaugh who was eating inside. They demanded that the manager kick him out. He had to slip out a back door.

Morton’s later put out this statement: “Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton’s Restaurant. Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedoms at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner. There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency.”

After putting out this very appropriate statement, the restaurant has been flooded with callers making false reservations. Young leftists have to be some of the most hateful, rude, spoiled people in the country today.

For years, colleges and universities have refused to ask any prominent conservative to give a commencement speech because they know many of the students brainwashed by leftist professors will rudely shout down the speaker or do some showboat walkout.

Leftist students attack, harass and turn over recruiting tables of conservative student clubs. Young Republicans or Young Americans for Freedom sometimes have to move their meetings just off campus so conservative leaders can speak.

In the rare event that a prominent conservative dares to come on campus, the universities have to bring in extra security.

Isn’t it interesting that conservative students do not treat Democrat or socialist students in this same childish, rude, hateful way?

Columnist George Will said there is now less free speech on college campuses than anyplace else and that U.S. universities seem to “celebrate diversity in everything but thought.”

We have reached a point where the only acceptable political thought on college campuses is a very radical, far-left one. Professors Richard Traunmüller of the University of Manheim and Matthias Revers of the University of Leeds did a major study of the opposition to free speech on campus and found that left-leaning students are less likely to tolerate controversial viewpoints.”

Those who are the first to say they are tolerant are often the most intolerant of all.

The liberalism from which the far left grew was always very elitist and now often borders on arrogance.

It is a philosophy that says “I can run your life for you better than you can, and I can spend your money more intelligently than you can” and thus everyone must turn control and money over to liberal elitists who are smarter than you are.

Wealthy liberal elitists and their young radical offspring think they know what is best for everyone and are greatly offended when anyone even questions, much less disagrees, with anything they say.

And isn’t it ironic that the same people who are now loudly screaming “my body, my choice” are the same people who angrily demanded that everyone be vaccinated by the very ineffective covid vaccine that made several Big Pharma executives billionaires?

The conservative icon, William F. Buckley, once said he would rather be governed by the first 100 names in the Boston phone directory than the entire Harvard faculty.

Those on the far left want us all to bow down to a big government that they control. Romans 1:22 says “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools….”

We should not turn our lives over to a “Big Brother” government run by people who are not nearly as smart as they think they are.
