Sounds like fun! On July 30, 2022, a multi-class reunion is scheduled for all the Gibbs High School classes that have been graduated 50 years or more!

The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Corryton Church, 7615 Foster Road, Corryton, Tennessee 37721. Four food trucks will be available onsite for attendees to purchase food and beverages, and trucks will start serving at 5:00 pm. Tables and chairs will be set up inside the church, and those who wish to sit outside will need to bring their own lawn chairs. The dress code will be very casual summer, and stick-on name tags will be given to all attendees. The event is free, but a donation jar will be available for contributions. All donations will be given to Corryton Church for their generosity in allowing this special reunion to be held on the grounds of their beautiful facility at no charge. The event starts with the Class of 1972 and goes back through the years.

The GHS Class of 1971 is coordinating the event. For questions, Gibbs graduates may contact Lana Baker Hutchison at 865-455-7505.

A great thought for this time of reunion is one that many learned in Brownies and Girl Scouts over the years, which originated from Joseph Parry: “Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver and the other gold.”

Come and join the fellowship with old and new friends on July 30, 2022, at Corryton Church!
