He makes surprise visits overnight.  Autumn’s chill usually gives a hint that he may make an appearance.  A dip in the temperatures are a sure indication that he will come.

Early mornings showcase his handiwork as it sparkles in the morning sun.  Delicate designs on window panes look like Jack Frost spent hours weaving a frosty scene.  Summer’s green leaves turning into the beautiful colors of fall are also recipients of the amazing work of Jack Frost.  Stubble from hayfields and lawns provide a foundation for his work, as well.  The landscapes that once burst with green growth look like blankets of light snow after Jack Frost works his magic.  The wonder of Jack Frost can even bring a glimmer of normal life after months of disruption in our lives and livelihoods by the challenges of coronavirus.  With Thanksgiving on the way, there is sure to be frost on the pumpkins, too!

As quickly as he appears, the magnificent creations of Jack Frost disappear when the fall sun starts rising.  Enjoy the wonders of Jack Frost this fall!

Words of Faith:  “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.”  Psalm 19:1 (KJV).
