KKB Beautification Grant is Due TODAY!

Keep Knoxville Beautiful (KKB) is accepting applications for their 2023 Community Beautification Grants through Friday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m.

Once a year, KKB seeks proposals from community groups inspired to take on a community project that aligns with their mission: To inspire and empower Knox County communities to improve their quality of life through beautification and environmental stewardship. Projects must promote at least one of the following: litter prevention, waste reduction, community beautification, or environmental stewardship.

Any Knoxville or Knox County community group, including schools, neighborhood associations, religious organizations, etc. are eligible to apply.

Examples of potential projects include, but are not limited to:
* Tree plantings
* Butterfly gardens
* Community gardens
* Murals
* Graffiti removal and repainting of wall
* Large scale litter pickups (100+ volunteers)
* Educational projects that promote beautification and environmental stewardship
* Outdoor classrooms

KKB will be accepting projects with budgets up to $5,000.
