Democrat-Socialists talk about affordability, but actions, as always, speak louder than words. With perhaps as much as $10 billion in taxpayer money lost to fraud in Minnesota, Democrats in the state legislature stopped an effort to investigate the fraud and abuse in state and federal funds siphoned off by fraudsters claiming to feed hungry children, etc. That money could have been used to fund any number of legitimate necessary expenses or helped to lower taxes on hardworking people.
Voters need to remember the Democrat-Socialists who told us there wasn’t a penny of fraud in the expansive welfare programs when DOGE loomed big over federal spending. The fraud and abuse are mind-boggling, and the Somali community in Minneapolis has been using the tax dollars of working Americans like their very own ATM.
There are new reports that American taxpayers are paying for breast implants for illegal aliens who are undergoing gender change surgeries at our expense. Some 1.7 million illegals have received benefits from California’s Medicaid program. At last look, the state of California is $50 billion in debt while having the highest per capita taxes in the country. Gavin Newsom can deny it all he wants, but the tens of thousands leaving California tell the tale. Medi-Cal, the name of California’s Medicaid program, is open to all aliens irrespective of their legal status. Newsom’s office has acknowledged that illegal aliens receive the same access as low-wage Californians who are American citizens and taxpayers. We help pay that bill here in Tennessee through federal taxes. But remember, there is no fraud.
The same people who preach defunding ICE, defunding the police, catering to criminals and cartels, can’t spend enough on those who have broken the law to come here illegally. And who can wonder why California is broke and $50 billion in the red?
Hillary Clinton is now publicly squalling about 6,200 children detained by ICE during President Trump’s administration. Yet the average number of children detained during her husband’s administration was much higher. Hillary Clinton is more likely to win the Miss America pageant than she is to tell the truth.
Four Democrat-Socialist governors have flatly turned their backs on President Trump’s directive not to tax overtime wages and tips. Gavin Newsom, governor of California and a presidential aspirant in 2028, J. B. Pritzker, the billionaire governor of Illinois and 2028 presidential contender, Governor Kathy Hochul of New York, and Jared Polis of Colorado, all have shown their true colors when it comes to working people and making life more affordable. The “Big Beautiful Bill” passed by Congress eliminated the income taxes on tips and overtime pay yet the governors of those four Democrat-Socialist states are forcing workers to report how much they have deducted from their federal taxes so as to be added back to future state taxes, presumably when a Democrat-Socialist Congress rolls back the “Big Beautiful Bill” and starts taxing tips and overtime pay of hard working Americans to spend on welfare programs for illegal aliens and handouts to their allies in the NGOs which help prop up their welfare state.
It is not a coincidence that Illinois, New York, and California are rapidly losing population as tens of thousands of residents flee the blue states each year. It is also one of the big reasons Democrat Socialists want to count illegal aliens in the census, to bolster their population for the purpose of avoiding a serious loss of representation in the House of Representatives. California alone would lose something like seven seats in the House without counting illegal aliens in the census.
When working people are leaving a state in droves, it is a testament that the people running it don’t give a hoot about making life more affordable for working families. Folks have started getting the biggest income tax refunds they’ve seen in decades. If the Democrat-Socialists retake Congress, that, too, will change. The tax cuts helped working people. The Democrat-Socialists are raising tons of money from Hollywood elites and billionaires while millionaire Communists like Bernie Sanders squall about taxing the rich. The Democrat-Socialists say one thing and do another. Overtime pay is vitally important for many professions, including law enforcement, first responders, and many blue-collar workers.
The “Big Beautiful Bill” also provided much-needed tax relief to small business owners, who provide jobs and employ workers all across the country. That same legislation helped 15.3 million families in California, as well as 3.1 million small businesses. It helped 8.6 million families in New York as well as 1.5 million small businesses. In Illinois, it helped 5.5 million families and 1 million small businesses.
Americans need to remember Nancy Pelosi talking about the “crumbs” for working people as she pulled a $12 pint of ice cream out of her $25,000 refrigerator. These people haven’t done anything for working people in 50 years and aren’t about to do anything for them now – – – except to tax them more when they get the chance.
