The Knoxville-based mother-daughter and author-illustrator team of Janine Hitchens Parker and Juliet Parker is excited to announce that Union Ave Books will host book signings for their Halloween children’s book: “Superhero Cowgirl Princess.”
Janine will be on hand to sign her book at Union Ave Books (517 Union Ave., Knoxville, TN) between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31. Coloring pages based on the story will be available for all customers. A unique Superhero Cowgirl Princess bookmark will be included with every signed copy of the book. Juliet will be joining her for the Halloween appearance.
“Superhero Cowgirl Princess” is the story of how one girl expands her imagination by creating her own unique Halloween costume. It spotlights a tender and poignant discussion between a mother and daughter about using one’s imagination to think past limitations. Even with a dragon included, it’s an uplifting Halloween story without being scary at all.
