2014 marks a milestone anniversary with the Dogwood Arts Festival: it is the 60th year since the Dogwood Trails were conceived by a visionary Trail Committee. This year, Sequoyah Hills is the featured Dogwood Trail and in celebration of this Trail, select homes with distinguished and remarkable gardens were asked to open them for a short time during the Festival. These homes are on or in close proximity to the Sequoyah Hills Dogwood Trail. The exclusive gardens open to the public this coming Saturday are listed below.

These elegant gardens are designed to echo a casual formality. The large Veranda introduces breath-taking vistas set against a backdrop of 100 year old Oak Trees. At the bottom of the gardens is an Arts and Craft fireplace, a hidden grassy alcove surrounded with blossoming hydrangeas, rare Danae racemosa, an exquisite rock garden and more. The abundant color transforms these gardens into an ever changing panorama of splendor.
