The silver screen is set to light up Friday nights on Market Square starting September 9 with a Disney classic. Based on a community-wide vote, this year’s lineup of Knox County Public Library’s Movies on Market Square features several Disney favorites and other blockbusters.

The Library is hosting the 13th year of Movies on Market Square, which is presented by Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union, to highlight its vast collection of movies and music with more than 50,000 titles. The Sights and Sounds Department at Lawson McGhee Library has one of the broadest physical collections of film and music of any public library in the Southeast.

And the winners are:
* 9//9 The Fox and the Hound (G, 1981)
* 9/16 Legally Blonde (PG13, 2001)
* 9/23 Up (PG, 2009)
* 9/30 Night at the Museum (PG, 2006)
* 10/7 Star Wars, Episode 7m The Force Awakens (PG13, 2015)
* 10/14 Ghostbusters (PG, 1984)

All movies are rated G, PG, or PG13, but parents are encouraged to check out the films to make sure they are right for their family. The series will run for six consecutive Friday nights, from September 9 through October 14. Movies begin at dusk,and well behaved dogs are welcome. Moviegoers should bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
