Too Little, Too Late, Jake
Jake Tapper is out making the rounds with his new book about Joe Biden’s mental decline. Tapper describes the cover-up of Biden’s seriously deteriorating mental state as a scandal bigger than that of the Watergate break-in, which caused Richard Nixon to resign the presidency. It certainly is one of the greatest scandals in our country’s history, with the White House apparently being run by a regency of Jill and Hunter Biden and a handful of aides. Yet Jake Tapper’s behavior is precisely the reason why the media has so little credibility outside of the elites and others driven insane through Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Tapper has offered the slightest apologies for his having been a big cog in the wheel of the mainstream media doing all it could to cooperate with the White House regents in protecting the true condition of Joe Biden’s mental state. Jake Tapper was yet another media elitist who damned us for what our eyes saw and our ears heard. According to Lara Trump, Tapper has apologized for his snarling and rude behavior towards her in an interview in 2020 when she questioned Biden’s mental capabilities. Lara Trump graciously said she “appreciated” Tapper’s apology but said it was a bit too late in coming.
At the same time, the legacy media roared, railed and dismissed the Hur Report, which mildly described Biden as a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory. At the time, the White House was bitterly against releasing the audio tapes of Hur’s questioning of Biden. There isn’t a soul in the United States who doesn’t realize why the Biden White House fought tooth and nail against releasing the audio of the interview. Now that we’ve been hearing the tapes, it confirms exactly what tens of millions of Americans already knew.
During President Trump’s first term the mainstream media frequently suggested he was mentally ill and allowed anyone and everyone the opportunity to state their belief based on nothing more than their opinion. Now, hearing Jake Tapper moan that the medical records of presidents should be publicly released and that we should pass a law requiring it rings hollow and partisan. Frankly, Jake Tapper fails to realize he isn’t fooling anybody, nor has he gained any credibility by running to get in front of the parade after having done all he could while masquerading as a journalist and participating in the cover up scandal he describes now as perhaps the worst in American history. Tapper is fully culpable in his guilt and trying to make a buck by peddling his book doesn’t make him pure as the driven snow and only a fool would accept his opinion without a block of salt. By contrast, his co-author, Alex Thompson, DID do some reporting on Joe Biden’s obvious mental slide while Tapper was still helping to cover it up. In this instance, Jake is one of the Watergate burglars telling the tale through his book.
Pathetic Pelly
Speaking of elitists pretending to be journalists, Scott Pelly is a prime example of the smugly self-righteous know-it-alls who are as lost as a small ball in high weeds and gopher holes. Pelly, supposedly a reporter on SeetheBS network, was the speaker at the commencement ceremony at Wake Forest University, a pricey $90,000+ per year private school. Pelly whined at length about President Trump, and Michael Goodwin has a crackerjack column about it in the New York Post. The most astonishing thing Pelly said in his commencement speech was that he is a reporter. He surely meant it to sound appropriately humble, but he’s no more a reporter than Joy Reid ever was. In fact, as Michael Goodwin suggested, Pelly’s speech sounded more like an audition for MSNBC in the Rachel Maddow lineup than the towering oration he seemed to think it was.
What his speech did show was that he’s no more objective than the rest of the herd of mainstream media elitists who lied to us during the last four and a half years on a daily basis. As Goodwin pointed out, SeetheBS and 60 Minutes did all it could to help Joe Biden, edited a conversation with Krazy Kamala so much that it was pieced together like a quilt simply to give her the appearance of being able to speak the English language. 60 Minutes was lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop long after the fact, even after it had been verified by the politicized FBI.
Scott Pelly and his kind seem to not understand that they don’t have a shred of credibility with any thinking American. Pelly and his kind try to spoon-feed the American people their version of the current Leftist narrative. I am old enough to remember when antisemitism was hated as much by the left as it was by the right. Now the Left slings the accusation of “Nazi” while wallowing in the same kind of hatred for Jewish people as the worst of the real Nazis. The idea of anyone celebrating the murder of a young Jewish couple should be repugnant to any human being. The people in this country whose hearts are full of hate seem to be the Leftists. They hate America, they hate Jews, they hate Christians, they hate anyone who disagrees with them about anything, and they hate Donald Trump.
Scott Pelly may not have meant to reveal himself, but he sure did. At the very least, he’s a partisan Democrat. If SeetheBS weren’t so full of it, they would take him off 60 Minutes and give him his own Sunday morning opinion show. There’s even a chance it might last more than a week.
