What kind of a person would waste a beautiful fall day to rant and rave about kings in a country that has never had a potentate in its 250 years of existence? No other country in history can make that claim. But the question is moot when dealing with psychosexual furries, vacuous Holly-weirds and the Democrat lunatic fringe of aging hippies, aka “gran-Tifa.”
Reality and logic are alien to lost souls who just hate President Trump. Marxists and Antifa types were also among the throng of useful idiots as well as paid performers from “rent-a-crowd” agencies. All are supported by Soros, Inc. And the Clinton Foundation reportedly gave $5.8 million for paid protestors. What a waste. The rants accomplished nothing and I read that it “cost Democrat cities more than $100 million in police overtime.”
The Democrats identify themselves as the resistance. The actual resistance are patriotic Americans who resist the destructive policies of the Democrat party and spurn the Dems’ un-American deranged operatives. We voted for a president who promised to end the border invasion and deport criminal illegal aliens. We voted to shrink the bloated bureaucracy, rife with unelected bureaucrats who make law through regulations. (Making law is the job of Congress.) We voted for a president who would address crime and illicit drugs killing thousands of Americans. We voted for an America First president who is fulfilling campaign promises to bring industry back to America and fix the imbalance in trade issues. President Trump won the popular vote, the swing states and the Electoral College. The Democrats and their toadies are resisting the will of the American people.
After the bitter presidential campaign of 1800, Thomas Jefferson in his inaugural address said, “We are all Republicans. We are all Federalists. Every difference of opinion is not a difference in principle.” Noble rhetoric, but these sentiments no longer exist. Was the creator of the Democrat party lying or just predicting the future? “Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil” (Charles Krauthammer). To put it plainly, Republicans believe Democrats are people with bad ideas. Democrats believe Republicans are bad people with ideas. Jefferson would later write to James Madison that “We must pray for Patrick Henry’s death.” Sounds a lot like Democrats today.
Let’s face reality. Reaching across the aisle is not currently possible despite the sometimes genteel language uttered by Congressional politicos. Power must be taken away from Democrats until they purge their violent Marxist base and start being Americans again.
I took no interest in the utterly ridiculous No Kings protest. How can you take anyone seriously in blow up costumes? And on-the-street interviews showed “protesters” were largely unable to give rational explanations for why they were protesting. You would think organic spontaneous protestors would be able to articulate what they were exorcised about. One said, “It’s important to protest.” Some were opposed to ICE arresting criminal aliens. The real theme of the protest was I hate President Trump. Therefore the protests were anti-America because we elected Trump and we are glad he’s fulfilling campaign promises; unusual for a politician. Trump is no king. “He’s an ace, which trumps a king” (Don Serber).
On the other hand, the Democrat’s Kamala Harris won no primaries and was crowned “queen” by the Democrats after they canned Biden. Did Mamala have any campaign promises? When asked if there were any policies she would change from Biden’s, she said “I can’t think of any.”
The best commentary on the protests was from Joe Rogan who described the protesters as “old hippie losers.” Similar observations came from the commentariat describing the majority of protesters as old white people. One observer in Atlanta said 90% of the crowd were white while 47% of Atlanta’s population is black.
Enough said about kings because more importantly the economy is improving, inflation is controlled, wars around the world are ending, illegals are leaving (500,000 this year), criminals are being caught and deported, trade imbalances are being corrected, America is again respected on the world stage and $17 trillion of investments are returning to America.
I have mixed emotions about the Schumer shutdown which is ongoing. John Fetterman describes it as “Groundhog Day.” I feel for government workers whose pay checks are being delayed by Democrats who have now voted 12 times to keep the government closed. Second ranking House Democrat Katherine Clark said of the shutdown that “families are going to suffer…but it is one of the few leverages we have.” In other words, they are withholding pay for the military, Federal workers, air traffic controllers and put SNAP benefits in jeopardy for political gamesmanship.
President Trump is using the Schumer Shutdown to close agencies like the problematic USAID, cancel wasteful Democrat projects like windmills and trim bureaucrat roles. The tottering Nancy Pelosi recently made a field trip from Jurassic Park and objected to a question regarding the government shut down. The aged dinosaur told the young whippersnapper journalist to “Shut up.” Well said, Congresswoman.
John Nolte describes the Democrats as “dumb, desperate and demoralized.” They have done everything to destroy President Trump and have failed. Their latest faux outrage is Trump’s ballroom project at the White House. Previously, Democrats complained about the improvements to the Rose Garden. Thirteen presidents have made major improvements to the White House. Trump is paying for the $250 million ballroom in the East Wing which used to be a swimming pool and now has the White House press room and is over an underground bunker. So “Lighten up, Francis” (from the movie “Stripes”).
I’m no fan of Karine Jean Pierre, but she is being savaged on her book tour because she continues to deny the obvious about Biden. Of course she will cover her booty and maintain that Biden was competent. As White House spokeswoman, she was paid to spin (lie). The Democrats and their media repeatedly lied to Americans and covered up Biden’s debility. They all find it easier to blame KJP than themselves.
The knives are also out for Fetterman. There are plans to primary him even though he votes 97% for Democrat policies. I’ve often wondered if there is a liberal area in the brain. Could Fetterman’s stroke have destroyed that hypothetical area leaving him more sane? Just wondering…
