PBS Has Become Biased
President Trump’s executive order cutting the funding received by PBS is long overdue. “Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence,” the order stated.
Margaret Brennan of CBS, perhaps the dumbest person masquerading as a journalist on the air since Joy Reid got cancelled, interviewed NPR CEO Katherine Maher. It was like Tweedle Dumb interviewing Tweedle Dee. Maher told a whopper of a lie in saying, “And our people report straight down the line.” Nobody believes that, not even Katherine Maher. In a newsroom without a single Republican, it is impossible for PBS to report news straight down the line. Nor is there any rational thinking person who believes Margaret Brennan is unbiased.
There is no reason for the American taxpayers to subsidize the Public Broadcasting System. In this day and time, it is outmoded and unnecessary. Nor is there any reason why taxpayers should be paying million-dollar salaries at PBS.
The truth is the audience for NPR has been seriously eroded over the years by its own bias. PBS is the darling of an audience that is overwhelmingly white, well-to-do, and leftist politically, yet it is paid for by mostly working people who don’t watch or listen to it.
Leftists Need To Be Held Accountable
Democrats and Leftists circled the wagons when John Fetterman had a stroke while running for the U.S. Senate. Now they have circled the wagons once again and are shooting at him from those wagons surrounding him for having stood up for Israel. Fetterman made the mistake of having a mind of his own and showing concern for the 30 babies and children under 18 who were held hostage by Hamas. Were that not bad enough, John Fetterman has been equally blunt in his support for securing our country’s border. It is mighty strange that the Democrats want to die on the hill of support for illegal aliens, whom they believe have greater rights than taxpaying American citizens and terrorists.
For the last four years, while they ruthlessly pursued Donald Trump, we were told “No one is above the law” time and again. Of course, these were the same people who mercilessly used every government entity in their grasp to punish their enemies, and now accuse Trump of the same thing they did for years. Many people have forgotten that every Democratic candidate for president who paraded across the stage in 2020 raised their hand when asked if they would support an open border. Joe Biden deliberately opened our border, and the results have been disastrous in terms of both blood and treasure. It was against our own law and they ignored it, but nobody is above the law. Crossing our borders illegally is illegal, meaning against the law. Unvetted, the Biden administration ferried them all across the country, gave them “free” health care, provided “free” education for their children, put them up in first-class hotels, and gave them money to spend.
We’ve had Soros-elected district attorneys who have perverted or refused to follow the law, endangering the lives and welfare of the people they supposedly represent. Racial, gender and sexual identity are not the basis of determining whether someone should be prosecuted or not. The question is, did someone break the law or harm or injure or kill another human being? Racial, gender or sexual identity should not make one immune from prosecution for having committed a crime. One prime example is Mary Moriarty, the Hennepin County, Minnesota, county attorney who wrote a memo saying “racial identity … should be part of the overall analysis” as she instructed prosecutors that they “should be identifying and addressing racial disparities at decision points, as appropriate.” What that means is Asians and Whites get the pointy end of the stick, and there is no justice for all, nor is it dispensed blindly. Far from it. Moriarty let the Tesla terrorist walk away after he inflicted $20,000 worth of damage to other people’s property. DAs who pursue the Soros policy of allowing law-abiding people to be preyed upon by the criminal class because they can get away with it need to be run out of their jobs and out of town.
