Rep. Burchett Supports Big, Beautiful Bill
Congressman Tim Burchett has put the “Big, Beautiful Bill” into prospective for working families in East Tennessee and his own Second District. That same bill gives tax breaks to seniors on Social Security, gives consumer breaks on buying made-in-America vehicles, and fulfills President Trump’s promise to remove the tax on tips. It also renews the Trump Tax Cuts, and Burchett has illustrated just what that means to working families.
“Without these important tax cuts, a family of four in Tennessee making $67,000 would see their taxes increase by $1,300 in 2026,” Burchett said. “That is unacceptable, and I will always fight to keep more money in the pockets of hard-working Tennesseans.”
There isn’t a single person in this country whose brain is still working who believes the federal budget doesn’t contain fat, waste and abuse. In the past 250 years, there’s never been an audit of the government’s spending. Hard to believe, but true and every program deserves some scrutiny. The “Big, Beautiful Bill” does not harm those on Medicare, but it does close loopholes that currently allow illegal aliens to receive benefits paid for by American taxpayers. It also ensures those on the Medicare program have better access to the resources they need and removes dead people from the rolls. Yes, unfortunately, there are some folks out there still milking Mamaw and Papaw’s benefits well after both of them are gone.
“Illegals, able-bodied adults choosing not to work, and people who weren’t eligible for Medicaid in the first place are going to destroy Medicaid for vulnerable and deserving Americans,” Burchett stated. “This bill protects and preserves Medicaid to ensure it better serves the least of us.”
Rep. Burchett Wants To Make Permanent Trump’s Executive Orders
Congressman Burchett has also announced he’s introduced legislation to codify three executive orders signed by President Trump. “Congress took the first step in implementing President Trump’s agenda in May when we passed the One Big Beautiful Bill,” Burchett wrote in a statement released Tuesday. “Now it’s time for us to codify the President’s Executive Orders into law.”
The three executive orders being sponsored as laws by Burchett include Executive Order #14293, which provides regulatory relief to promote the production of critical medicines in the United States. This is a vitally important bill as we are presently far too reliant on medications taken by hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans from foreign countries, including China. Those countries not friendly to the United States can cut off the flow of life-giving medications at any time they want. Keep in mind, two Chinese nationals have been caught carrying into the country a fungus that apparently could kill off American crops and has been described in the news media as a possible source of agro-terrorism.
Executive Order #14292 improves the safety and security of biological research. Congressman Burchett is rightly worried about the all-too-dangerous gain-of-function research on biological agents and pathogens, which endanger the lives of Americans.
Burchett is also sponsoring a bill to codify Executive Order #14290 to end American taxpayers paying to subsidize biased media. It would have the effect of having the Corporation for Public Broadcasting Board to cease funding National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). That change in the law has been long overdue and let’s face it, when there is not a single conservative or Republican amongst the staff it’s abundantly clear that the news is more than a little slanted. Katherine Maher’s appearance before Congress spoke volumes, and she failed to make even a rudimentary case why the American taxpayers should keep funding an elitist group of people who clearly look down upon the majority of the people paying for it.
If PBS and NPR are all that, then private businesses will be more than happy to buy advertising. State-run media was a tool used by totalitarian governments like Hitler’s Germany, Mao’s China and Josef Stalin’s Soviet Union. Maher is suing presently under the delusion that taxpayers are obligated to pay her and the NPR and PBS folks for all eternity. The taxpayers are under no such obligation.
Governing by executive order has no lasting effect and can be rolled back by the next administration, irrespective of what a handful of Obama-appointed district judges say.
Congressman Burchett is doing a terrific job, and we urge all other congressmen to work to codify the important and critical changes made by President Trump’s executive orders.
Legacy Media, Former Biden Officials Change Their Tune
The rush is on to change the narrative, and the tactic appears to be switch and bait. Karine Jean-Pierre, perhaps the worst White House Press Secretary in history, has announced she’s left the Democratic Party to become an Independent. That comes along with the announcement that she has written a new book, coincidentally titled “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House.” Along with Jake Tapper, this has to be one of the most egregious attempts to rewrite history amongst the most shameless people I’ve ever seen. In this instance, the rats have left the sinking ship and are swimming as fast as they can to the distant shores where the cheese factory sits.
Leftist Liars And Hypocrites
Every time Leftists, like AOC, who travels first-class, or her “papa” Bernie Sanders, who flies on a private jet, tell you tax cuts are for the rich, keep in mind it’s the Democrats who scoop up barrels full of money. Kamala Harris raised a billion and a half dollars in a month, vastly outspending Donald Trump. There are FAR more billionaires who are Democrats than Republicans. They talk about “oligarchs” all while having their picture taken with the weird little guy who is the son of the King of the Oligarchs, ultra-leftist George Soros.
They’ve lied to our faces for years, as when Obama promised “you can keep your own doctor,” the New York Times won a Pulitzer Prize for repeating (they haven’t reported anything in years) the Russia hoax, and told us there was no crisis at the border and that Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack” and running circles around his much younger aides while all of us saw and heard the poor old thing could barely speak a sentence and couldn’t walk up a flight of steps. These are the same people who celebrate, or won’t even issue a perfunctory attempt to denounce the murder of a young Jewish couple, while calling others “Nazis.” Trump Derangement Syndrome is rapidly becoming simply derangement, period.
