Knoxville Residents Can Make a Difference for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital with the Purchase of a Blizzard® Treat
American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), a leader in iconic treats and food, has announced the return of their annual Miracle Treat Day® – the sweetest way for fans to give back. On July 30, fans can enjoy a sweet treat at their local DQ® and help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network®. This year, 14 DQ locations are proud to partner with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in support of children and families in Knoxville.
On Miracle Treat Day, every Blizzard® Treat purchased at participating U.S. DQ® locations helps make a difference. For each Blizzard Treat purchased, $1 or more will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network to support local children’s hospitals. Through a partnership spanning more than four decades, the DQ system has contributed more than $195 million to help provide critical care, treatments and services for children and families in communities across the U.S.
“Every year, Miracle Treat Day demonstrates the incredible impact that can happen when our communities come together for a sweet cause,” said Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing at American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “Year after year, our fans, franchisees and partners show up to support Children’s Miracle Network to help ensure kids and families receive the care and hope they deserve. We’re grateful to have Tara Lipinski and the Savannah Bananas helping us spread the word about Miracle Treat Day and encouraging fans across the country to enjoy a Blizzard Treat while making a meaningful difference for local children’s hospitals.”
