November 7 event will bring together car enthusiasts, local businesses, and the community to support the Cox family.

CLINTON, Tenn. – The East Tennessee community is once again coming together to support Branson Cox, son of Lindsey and Shane Cox and grandson of Tracey and Ray Varner of Ray Varner Ford and Robin and Mike Cox of Powell, following a devastating accident over the Fourth of July holiday that left him with life-changing injuries.

Since the accident, Branson and his family have experienced an incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support from friends, neighbors, and the East Tennessee community.

Now, that same community is coming together for the Branson Cox Benefit Car Show, taking place Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ray Varner Ford in Clinton.

The event is supported by several area car clubs and organizations, including the Tennessee Valley Mustang Club, Fast and Classy, Smoky Mountain Mustang Club, and Smoky Mountain Antique Engine & Tractor Association, helping bring together automotive enthusiasts from across the region for a great cause. Cars, trucks, and motorcycles of all makes and models are welcome.

In addition to the car show, the event will feature live music from Liquid Velvet from noon to 2 p.m., raffle prizes donated by local businesses, and lunch plates available for $15, courtesy of Aubrey’s and Ingles. Vehicle registration begins at 9 a.m. for a $20 entry fee. Raffle tickets will also be available for $10, with prizes donated by local businesses.

“On behalf of our entire family, we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from our community,” said Lindsey Cox, Branson’s mother. “Branson is improving every day, and while we know he still has a long road ahead, we are so thankful for every step forward. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside us and being part of Branson’s journey.”

All proceeds from the benefit will go toward supporting Branson and his family as they navigate the challenges ahead.
