When life’s conditions are at their worst, the best in mankind often rises above and beyond the challenges.  With the COVID-19 crisis, many schools are facing struggles in the area of social distancing.  Such was the case at Gibbs High School.

“Our cafeteria is very small, especially for a school our size,” Gibbs High School Principal Jason Webster shared.  “On a normal day, there are not enough seats in the cafeteria.  Now, with all of the social distancing requirements, we had to come up with a safe alternative space for our students to eat lunch.”                According to Gibbs High School (GHS) Foundation member Rebecca Longmire, the Foundation had planned to buy tables to help the high school with social distancing.  That is when Lifetime Products, Inc., stepped in to help.  Lifetime gave a generous donation of 24 plastic tables to Gibbs!  “We are so thankful for their gift and support for Gibbs High School,” Webster added.  “We are using the tables in the balcony of the main gym during our lunch time.  So far, it is working great!”  With no need to buy tables, Longmire said the GHS Foundation has donated carts to facilitate moving the tables.  Not only will Lifetime’s donation help keep students safe while at school, but the entire community will benefit from Lifetime’s thoughtfulness and generosity in these unprecedented times.  A huge “THANK YOU” to Lifetime Products from the entire Gibbs Community!

Words of Faith:  Psalm 91:2 (KJV): “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
