California Dreamin’ Nightmare
For anyone who entertained for a moment that the corporate media in this country learned even a smidgen of a speck from the 2024 election, sorry to say so, but your bubble got busted. The rioting in Los Angeles sure as shooting popped that bubble where a plainly incompetent mayor allowed much of the city to burn because there was no water in the fire hydrants. Of course, she was off attending a cocktail party in Africa at the time after having promised the voters she would do no foreign traveling. Poor Karen Bass is so far over her head as mayor of Los Angeles that she might as well be in a bottomless pit. The same is true for Gavin Newsom, California’s equally incompetent governor, who helped to bury the California Dream in a hole and burn what was left of it to ashes. A state chock-full of natural wonders and some of the most wonderful weather on the planet, the Leftists in charge of California didn’t just run it into the ground, they just plain killed it. People have been fleeing California like their houses were on fire and, unfortunately, some of them were. Many of those refugees have settled here in Knox County and throughout Tennessee. Open borders, along with an open health care and welfare state, eventually bankrupt a country, and if anyone is so stupid as to doubt that, California is a perfect example. California has a $58 billion deficit and growing. California has offered free health care to illegal aliens, something American taxpayers don’t enjoy. California is robbing Peter to pay Paul and before long, the entire state is going to fall in on itself. Likely, Gavin Newsom hopes that happens after he runs for president in 2028.
The establishment media is back to its well-worn tricks of telling us about the “mostly peaceful” rioting in Los Angeles, where cars are burning in the background as “protestors” against allowing ICE to do its job, wave Mexican and Palestinian flags. The rioters have entertained themselves by burning American flags, slashing tires, throwing rocks at guardsmen, setting cars on fire, defacing buildings and destroying property owned by the taxpayers.
All the rioting and burning of other people’s property has a price tag, which we all pay. The insurance costs to replace or rebuild homes, buildings, cars, and everything else either destroyed or looted comes directly out of your pockets. Next time you sign a check for your mortgage or car insurance, say a little prayer of thanks to the “mostly peaceful” rioters who caused your rates to go up. Think about the politicians like Tim Walz, who sat on his hands while letting rioters burn down parts of Minneapolis, just as Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass did before President Trump called out the National Guard. Those on the Left never allow law enforcement to do its job and order them to stand down until things have usually gotten way out of hand. The Left likes any old riot and insurrection except that of January 6.
And, once again, the corporate media goes right along with the Leftist narrative, telling us not to believe our lying eyes. Gavin Newsom sounds utterly ridiculous when he starts talking about what is lawful. Crossing our border illegally is a federal crime. ICE removing dangerous criminals, child molesters, rapists, murderers and gang members are doing their job under American law. We’ve seen one Leftist judge ask for immunity for violating the law while at the same time parroting that no one is above it. That is a lie; they think they are above it. They think the deplorables and Donald Trump should be beneath their own boot heels.
The next time you hear them squall about the law, remember they ignored the law about the border; the next time you hear them shriek our democracy is in danger, remember they celebrated Biden deliberately refusing to enforce our border laws. The next time they holler we have a constitutional crisis, keep in mind the cost to house, feed, clothe and provide for 20 million illegal aliens. And never forget why the Leftists want them here; Congresswoman Becca Balint of Vermont blurted out the reason when she said, “We aren’t going to have anyone around to wipe our a- – – -s.”
Congresswoman Norma Torres is following the Democratic narrative by trying to accuse President Trump of having created the mess in Los Angeles. No, lady, that was the doing of you and your fellow Democrats. Torres called for ICE to “retreat.” It began with the utterly incompetent Karen Bass calling for an end to ICE raids detaining illegal aliens.
Is it just hunky dory for someone who doesn’t agree with your politics to set your car on fire? Is it okay for someone who is mad because of what he or she saw on the TV news to throw rocks through your window? Calling violence “peaceful” will always be a lie, and the American people have demonstrated they can make their own decisions based on what they see with their own eyes. Violence unleashed and unchecked always escalates. It cannot be tolerated in a civilized society for any reason.
Thank God we have a president who takes his duty seriously enough to ensure the welfare and safety of our country’s citizens.
